Military Activities of the Opposing Fronts or Low-Cost Efforts to Attract Financial Resources?

Recently, the Voice of Hindukush revealed the true nature of those imaginary fronts thru the release of a voice clip by Yasin Zia, who had been chanting slogans against Afghanistan and the Afghan government, knocking on the doors of every enemy for the country’s destruction, and even extending a hand for help to the Zionists, but achieved nothing except for their own disgrace. In this clip, Yasin Zia clearly states that one cannot lead a front with five thousand dollars, and from his words, it becomes evident that the conflicts over financial resources and power among these fronts have deepened even further. These new findings not only identify the main reasons for their increasing numbers and divisions but also shed light on their incompetence following the indifference of regional and global powers.

The leaders of these fronts, such as Yasin Zia, Ahmad Massoud, and others, are facing serious difficulties in attracting financial resources. Yasin Zia sarcastically stated in his clip that the fronts cannot operate with the help of two to five thousand dollars, and that this little money will be pocketed by another Jalalabadi or Northerner tomorrow. This is an accepted fact: when a group loses its supporters, it tries to appear active thru limited operations, propaganda campaigns, and media presence, in order to deceive potential funders.

But this time, considering their authenticity and weakness, Iran, which has always understood the importance of proxy groups in building its regional and religious circle, made this issue clear in decisive and firm words, stating clearly that we do not support any resistance. Tajikistan, which in the past sometimes raised its voice in support of Ahmad Shah Massoud’s successors in the Panjshir Valley, no longer has the same enthusiasm and has distanced itself from these groups instead of fostering friendship.

Similarly, Pakistan also invests in certain groups, not providing resources to every group, but rather recommending some to work under others’ control beyond a certain level of support. Recently, the ISI firmly rejected Ata Mohammad Noor’s offer of 100 million dollars and advised him to seek support elsewhere, as Pakistan is caught up in its own challenges and does not invest in everyone. The main reason behind all these changes is the military and political weaknesses of these fronts. They not only lack the ability to form a successful and united movement, but they also resort to very cheap and lowly methods to attract their financial resources, which has affected others as well.

The Badakhshan issue was actually something akin to a nuisance, but they tried very hard to make it seem significant. They created such a big uproar over these few small and failed attempts to attract new recruits and financiers for their weak and resource-depleted fronts. Analysts have shown that their efforts were largely limited to propaganda and rumors, and have labeled these actions as superficial attempts.

Therefore, the people of Afghanistan and the region should learn from these imaginary fronts and be aware that the stability and security of any country cannot be guarantyd thru foreign proxy games, but rather thru independent, national, internal, and regional cooperation. Some countries have come to the conclusion that these groups are no longer useful, and this in itself is the biggest and most obvious sign of the failure of these fronts, because they value foreign support over legitimacy and popular backing.
